Higher doses of neuromodulators can help relax the muscle, which may ease TMJ-related discomfort and slim the jawline.
“Jelly eye rolls” are the small, soft bulges that appear just under the lower lashes when you smile or laugh. A tiny dose of neuromodulator along the lash line can help create a smoother, more rested under-eye appearance.
Microtox involves injecting microdoses of neuromodulator superficially into the skin to target hard-to-treat areas, such as fine lines above the brow or crepey texture under the eyes and on the neck. Most patients have little to no downtime and can return to normal activities right away. Minor bruising or redness is possible, so we recommend scheduling treatment at least two weeks before important events or holidays.
To minimize bruising, avoid elective blood-thinning supplements and medications, such as aspirin, ibuprofen (NSAIDs), fish oil, ginkgo biloba, and vitamin E, for at least 7 days before your visit. Always check with your physician before stopping any prescribed medication. Please inform your provider of your complete medical history, including any active skin conditions at the injection site or underlying neuromuscular disorders (such as myasthenia gravis or ALS). We do not recommend treatment during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
To help support optimal placement and results, remain upright for at least 4 hours after treatment. Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat exposure (like hot tubs or saunas), alcohol consumption, and direct pressure or rubbing on the treated areas for 24 hours.
