Morpheus8® by InMode is an advanced fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device engineered for subdermal adipose remodeling and deep dermal collagen synthesis. The RF energy generates a thermal effect within the skin, helping stimulate new collagen growth and improve skin quality and texture over time.
As the microneedles create controlled microchannels, RF energy is delivered beneath the skin’s surface. This process signals the body to ramp up collagen production, helping tighten the skin, while the heat supports remodeling of fatty tissue in deeper layers. Morpheus8® can be adjusted to reach different depths, allowing your provider to customize treatment to your goals.
Morpheus8® can be used almost anywhere on the body. Common areas include the forehead, around the eyes and mouth, the lower face (jowls), chin, double chin, and neck. Common body treatment areas include the arms, knees, thighs, stomach, buttocks, and bra line.
Depending on your skin, results typically last between 1 and 3 years.
Some redness and mild swelling are common, but these effects generally resolve within a few days.

The number of recommended sessions varies by individual, factoring in age, lifestyle, skin health, and genetics. Patients in their 20s to 40s often need just one treatment per year, while older patients are frequently recommended a series of 3 sessions.
Downtime varies by patient and treatment intensity, ranging from 2 days to 2 weeks, though most patients return to work the day after their procedure. Expect mild swelling, grid-pattern micro-crusting (stamping marks), and redness for 3 to 7 days. Do not pick micro-scabs. For the first 3 days, your provider will guide you on which products to apply. You can typically wear makeup again after day 3. Skin may appear slightly flaky on days 4 to 7 and generally returns to normal by the end of the first week. We offer Thursday and Friday appointment times so you can recover comfortably over the weekend.
Good candidates are typically concerned about skin laxity, enlarged pores, scarring, jowl development, deep wrinkles, fine lines, under-eye bags, a double chin, or crepey skin. They are generally between the ages of 25 and 80. Morpheus8® is generally considered safe for all skin types. Patients with darker skin tones may need a pretreatment plan to help reduce the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), which we’ll discuss during your consultation. If you have a history of skin cancer, we recommend discussing treatment with your dermatologist first. Absolute contraindications include implanted cardiac devices (pacemakers or internal defibrillators), metal plates or implants in the treatment zone, active skin infections, open wounds, and pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please share any medications you take during your consultation. We will never advise you to stop a prescribed medication without first consulting your prescriber.
